According to SMM research, the price of battery-grade lithium carbonate has been declining since 2020, and has been at the bottom of the price. As of August 18, the average price of battery-grade lithium carbonate was 39750 yuan / ton, down 10500 yuan / ton from the high since the beginning of the year. However, SMM believes that the price of battery-grade lithium carbonate is expected to rise by 50-1000 yuan per ton from the end of August to the beginning of September.
